7 FOR ALL MANKIND

THE FOUNDATION FOR INDIVIDUAL EXPRESSION

7 for all Mankind set out already from the beginning to become a innovator in the premium denim market. The brand entered the market of denim jeans in the year of 2000, a year when the luxury and premium jeans market was in a declining stage.  With the vision of becoming the world's number one brand in luxury jeans the two friends Michael Glasser and Jerome Dahan started their business in the heart of Los Angeles California, which still is the home of the now worldwide known brand.

With a focus on the product 7 For All Mankind makes sure to seek the customers’ needs with every single product, the fit and fabric is always what makes the Seven jeans different. The founders had the vision to design and produce jeans in a new kind of way, always seeking new materials and better ways in production to make even better denim than the competitors.

Starting off with only one single fit for women as their only product, they soon had the huge success letting them continue to grow their product portfolio. By focusing on the vision of their brand, they made sure to make the best fit from the best to be found fabrics and combined that with a design team that clearly felt the vibe of the 21st Century Los Angeles. The one fit soon became a whole range of loved washes and cuts.

Seven For All Mankind has built a brand that is very popular among people, not only is it for all mankind but it has also turned out to be a first choice for many top celebrities as well. Maybe the initial choice to place they headquarter in Los Angeles was not only a way of keeping close to the drivers of the market and the home of creativity but also a perfect way of putting their brand on some very well-known bottoms. Because lets face it, Angelina Jolie's bottom is a pretty good place for marketing a new and innovative jeans brand.

But putting out the first and, at that point, only fit for women on the market proved to be a great success at that time. Focusing on the vision of their brand, they made sure to make the best fit from the best to be found fabrics and combined that with a design team that clearly felt the vibe of the 21st Century Los Angeles. The one fit soon became a whole range of loved washes and cuts.

Even though the Seven For All Mankind brand no longer is owned by the original founders, but today is part of the VF corporation brand portfolio, they still stays true to their heritage, and their main mission as being “Lifestyle Innovators”.
